Why would that rub anyone the wrong way? Someone mentions capitalist ideology concerning health care that apparently lampoons the long held notion that our country pays our doctors more, therefore they are superior, and people get offended? Holy shit. For decades the same tired arguments have been bandied about and widely accepted as fact simply because we don't know any better and are rigidly opposed to change. Imagine if Cuba came out with a phone that had advanced technology equivalent to this medical progression? How accepting of it would we be then? The fact is, we know little to nothing about Cuba's health care systems because we are too apathetic to care.
Everything is not a stereotype and sometimes ideologies evolve and others become obsolete. We only use a small percentage of our brain capacity as it is, some much less than others. I can't see how closing it off to progressive ideas and advancements simply because we're comfortable in situ ever helps.
