Bowa on radio just now said not to judge new kid too harshly from debut. They didn't prep him too much, just want him to throw and get it over with, he's so hyped and adrenaline up. Said Kid should be good in long run, will have ups and downs in beginning.

thanks for your other post, T-Ray.. sounds like myers has quality stuff as well, i believe only 1 walk and 20 something k's in his last 6 trip aaa starts(according to wgn) and an outstanding hook too. what a place to make your debut--

the kid Myers, already nick-named "maniac" by the phils fans, is the real deal. dont have his numbers on hand, but he can throw.
gave up 1 hit so far, homer, on a tough fastball on the outside of the plate.
phils got guys on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out, travis lee up. :brows:
