What a joke....either don't bet on this team at all or just bet them on the road. All I'm hearing from the announcers so far is..."A towering blast to right....a towering blast to left!!" Rusch just getting lit up already!! What a gas can!! Him and Bret Tomko must use the same gas!!
If the Cubbies had Derrick Lee it would be whole different ball game for them.....maybe Prior coming back Sunday possibly will spark them better than Wood did. Wood has done nothing....

An inning ago, Ron and Pat were expounding on the facts involved in the upcoming hearing for Barrett's suspension. Facts that can't be ignored like the fans being at the game and their impact on the situation and also that a Cubs player got hurt in the melay that insued after Barrett clocked AJ. These alone should temper the number of games of suspension. :mj07:

the cubs will sell 3 million tix this year-who cares if they win or lose---we have girls getting tans in the bleachers and bud light--plus the leagues best park---diary of a cub fan ---born 1909--died 2006---if i only lived 2 more years---i couldve seen the cubs do an o-fer the century----
