CUBS/MARLINS Over 8.5 +100 ? This total seems to be based more on these pitchers? reputations than on their performance on the field so far! Wood has been especially horrible in his last 6 starts, posting an ERA of 7.00 with a high WHIP of 1.61 over those starts, with the Over going 5-1. He does not have the command that he had in past seasons, as he has an alarming 22 walks in his last 36 innings of work. Dempster appeared to have turned the corner, but he regressed a bit in his last start in Toronto, allowing 4 earned runs and 10 Men on Base in a 4-0 loss. He has been rather hittable at home this year, as he has a home ERA of 4.34 while allowing an opponents batting average of .271. The Over is now 11-5 in all of Dempster?s starts and 5-2 in all of his home starts.

I saw your post in the other thread and was waiting for the writeup, thanks man. I also think it's great how this over gets mentioned before we even get into the terrible bullpens, a fact that makes me more comfortable with it

I am on the over too. But I am a little surprised for the odd. Imo it must be lower for sure . Anyway I will not refuse the even odd and will jump on it.
