Alou getting doubled up on a fly ball AGAIN :gf:

Sammy misjudging a line ball to right and costing his team a run scored AGAIN :gf:

Sammy striking out AGAIN :gf:

The rest of the team 1st pitch swinging for the fences AGAIN :gf: against a pitcher that has av 5 walks per game over his seven starts

Maddux busting his ass carrying this bunch of cry babies

I guess he can't allow any Montreal players to hit the ball at all while somehow he scores for runs for his team in front of loser fans that ACTUALLY BOOED HIM at Wrigley at the beginning of the season.

LETS GO BAKER YOU PUKE!

LOSE THE FVCKING TOOTHPICK AND START MANAGING YOU WORTHLESS DOPE!!

THIS FVCKING TEAM CRIES ABOUT EVERYTHING JUST LIKE THEIR FEARLESS LEADER AND DOESN"T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME :gf: :gf: :gf:

With that said...

Go Cubbies

Come on, don't be so hard on them. Remember, this is THE Scott Downs who is 2 hitting them.

I guess it's time to forget about any post season for the Cubs, the bunh of under achievers that they are. I can't stand to see them continue to swing for the fences like some washed up 16 inch softball leaguers.

They don't deserve to make the playoffs, nor do I think they will.

Pick 'em to what? Win tonight, win their division, win the NLCS, win the WS? Which one? All those picks are losers. I'm disgusted.

this day will probably mark their funeral. its hard to believe they are only a 1/2 game out though. they still have a chance, i haven't given up on them yet. They have to take 3/4 from the Marlins this week no doubt about it. I still have to give them credit though. With all the injuries they have had this year and to still be contending, thats something. better than those south siders at least...

nice parting shot Dogg :nono:

Give me the Cubs payroll on the South Side with a real mgr and we would definitely see more W's ;)

I would like to see what the Cubs would do without Ramirez and Alou for 3 quarters of the season. And that's with the rest of their overpaid players still playing.

 In ANY other city, with ANY other fan base, this worthless mgr would be out on his ass at the end of the season.

NOT HERE

NOT WITH THESE FANS :142hump:

I Agree with Davoso. The cubs are done. No way would I dare put my money on that overrated team. Instead, there is going to be some good money to bet on with the Pirates coming up in the Cubs schedule!

FADE THE CUBS!!! Or at least do yourself a favour and stay away!

excuses excuses for those south siders... Cubs had Prior,Wood,Rameriez,Grudz,Hollandsworth,Gonzalez,Goodwin,Borowski,Remlinger,Farnsworth and now Clement out and they are still contending. When frank and maggs were both out the sox were still winning, but the same thing happens to them every year. they play the twins in the second half and they got smoked. The sox funeral started way back in July when Hunter smoked Burke back at home plate.

You would have a better record if Remlinger and Farnsworth had a fat lady roll over them on a stairway in April. :argue:
