Rookie LH Ryan O'Malley is expected to start today in the finale of a three-game set vs. Houston at 1:05 p.m. CT. Rich Hill was scheduled to start, but he pitched two innings in Tuesday's 18-
inning victory.

Closer Dempster threw 53 pitches last night.

LH Set-up Arm Eyre had to leave the game in the eighth with a strained right hamstring. His status is questionable.

I would lean toward the Cubs today. The Astros are terrible when facing a pitcher for the first time.
Also, the Houston players had to drive home last night after the game to pack for the road trip. The plane is leaving right after the game today. My guess would be those guys didn't hit the bed until after 3am.
The Cubs meanwhile, are staying at the Hilton, which is walking distance to Minute Maid. I'm sure they got much more sleep. Something to consider, anyway.

Cubs always do this

win when they aren't suppose to

and lose when they are suppose to win

I'd be wary of them from here on out laying the wood, but take them getting the big #
