The news that Wood won't go tomorrow in his schedule start could put some strain on the staff today in the doubleheader....Cruz will probably be called up from AA ball for tomorrow's start so Baylor might have to limit Fassero today so he could pitch long relief tomorrow if Cruz falters....Van Poppel threw 55 pitches yesterday so he is a no go today and Weathers has pitched 3 consectuive days so he will be limited also...leaving lefties ohman and herdia(non-quality)...righties farnsworth and closer gordon....lieber if he struggles might have to stay in longer than usual w/ situation...and w/ his pitch count two games back followed by a 9 inning QS in houston on 4 days rest....not the ideal situation for him...then you have highly touted flamethrower Zambrano going for the cubs in the 2nd game...hard to predict what he will do...nothing wrong w/ the brewers bats last 5 games...at -220 in the first game i would think the brewers have a better than 31% chance of winning this game which the line is implying....

just throwing this out for a word of caution...good luck whatever you play.

Can you say OVER???

If LIEBER labors at all, I can't see this one staying UNDER. MILW is hitting the ball well, albeit vs CINCY, but LEVRAULT is no CLEMENS, so CUBS ought to get some runs off of him here. I can see the BREW CREW getting to LIEBER, although he is tremendous during the day at WRIGLEY, but as you pointed out, added pressure may get to him, knowing he has the KID pitching Game 2, and no relief in sight...

sorry... had WRIGHT penciled in, I see it's LEVRAULT in game one...
