Who would be your top 3 in this? I am going to Vegas soon, and I would like to make some futures...long odds preferably!! Hard Spun?

Would need to be confident that your pcks would in fact run. My favs would be Hard Spun @20/1 even though I don't know much about Mario Pino. Larry Jones says he's the man but if O'Neill or Pletcher pull some of their entries he'll opt for a Big name rider. Notional @22/1 and Stormello @22/1 are good price possibles for futures.
What a candy shop that's going to be for you
Good luck

When are you going? From the 17th on, there are derby pre-lims every weekend till late April. Only my opinion, believes Ill,NY or La. has the derby's best hopeful. Again, only opinion.

I think the Derby winner will be one of the following, in order of preference:
1. Ravel
2. Great Hunter
3. Street Sense
4. Scat Daddy
5. Nobiz Like Showbiz

I really wouldn' forget any of them. Purpose is twofold when thinking about futures. 1/Be reasonably sure your bet will run. 2/You would like to max the odds on your bet, at least 15-20/1. Most of the entries you like, while as good as any, will likely go off at higher odds. if they run. I'm still jealous.
