Curt Schilling....Total loss of judgement..

Being such a veteran player he should know when "He doesnt have it"........I give the guy credit for trying but he should have known after walking the first 2 guys(jeter and arod) in the 3rd inning something was wrong.......its not like this ankle issue wasnt discussed over and over again.

He is just totally hurting his team by trying to play hurt............I mean really could Derek Lowe have done any worse than Schilling tonight........the Boston coachs should have seen a big...big....big red flag go up when he wasnt getting his normal velocity on his fastball.........when you're fastball is consistantly in the mid 90's and youre having problems throwing 85 something is not right.

I just think either Schilling or the coachs could and should have pulled him earlier than they did.......not after 3 innings and 6 earned runs.....

Really all Boston has to do is keep it close.....they have the ability to score.......they showed that again tonight........

He's also hurting his team by running his mouth and waking up a sleeping bear. This was just one game but hopefully this cocky "veteran" learned a little something today watching from the bench for six innings. If Boston doesn't come back in this series he's definitely going to take a well deserved beating for a while. Esp if he doesn't show up again in his next start, ankle or no ankle. Boston's pen looked brutal and the game wouldn't have been that close if the "Japanesa" player had any idea how to play left. He's sucked in the field all year. Saw him blow a couple balls here during the season.

He's been hurting the whole second half of the season. He was getting shot up all the time. Any one who has followed Boston all season knows this. Whats wrong is the media blew it all up that he shouldn't of pitched last night. If that was the case he wouldn't of pitched most of the season. Give the Yankees some credit for winning last night.

I'm assuming you don't watch too much of the yanks. Can't speak too much about Manny, but Matsui is as solid as you get in left. Could he have made that play against the wall last night.... yes...but he usually does. Just my opinion...

I watch YES all day so I know plenty and watch a lot of yankees games.........the hosts Mike and Mad Dog have been saying all day what a bad left fielder Matsui is..............I guess these guys dont know the Yankees either even though the follow them every day

We can agree to disagree Maverick. I happen to think he's pretty solid. Definitely not as solid as last year, but solid none-the-less. Hopefully he can make the plays the rest of the postseason.
