I am a first time poster but an avid player! I have heard great things about the site. I know Cuse got into the Big Show a few years back against Kentucky but I just don't think Jimmy B. takes the lower conference teams very seriously. My early leans are UWM and Manhattan.

Hey jumpshot 24

Hey jumpshot 24

Good to see you up here...

I like your ideas about UWM but I'm leaning to Syracuse in the matchup vs the " Jaspers" This is the "Dance" however........and who bets the Favs at the dance...........You have to talk me outa this one

I see BC is 6.5 over Fairfield in Bridgeport (NIT) when they don't even care to be there........ then one could argue that "Cuse" could be a double digit winner over Manhattan as a 7.5 fav.

At least this is how I see this one:

1. NO answer for Carmelo Anthony and Syracuse will own the paint

2. Syracuse will win the boards by about 10 as well.

3. Strength of sched...... "Cuse 47% against much tougher Ds
Manhattan 45% FG against lesser comp.

4. Neither team shoots the 3 particularly well.....low 30s
Manhattan will NEED to. shoot over that Jimmy B. zone
Cuse will not need to. bigger, stronger, better down low.

5. Bobby Gonzalez is a helluva coach and LF is an outstanding competitor...........Manhattan DOES have Wins over the "Hall" and St Johns but in each of those games they got hammered on the boards .......I believe Syracuse is more than that , will be fired up after CT loss, and will be toooo much for Manhattan. I think they will pull away late to a dd Win........Manhattan will also have to play a little softer if they get into foul trouble trying to contain Carmelo + co.
