Cuse in the "dome" today will struggle vs one of those mid-majors that drives everyone crazy.
Davidson plus over Cuse **
McKillop is a fellow former NY HS coach so that sways me a little.He knows the Cuse inside out and is friends with Jimmy Boe.Clinics,summercamps,Boe recruiting his kids when he coached HS,etc.Of course Boe knows Davidson well too and has his team,I'm sure well prepared.
Dav. went 16-0 in conf lyr and didn't make the NCAA's.But they have a solid team despite getting blownout by the Dukies.[they did win 2 NIT games]
But dav has a good backcourt with Winters,McKillops son,Grant and Richards.Inside they have 6'9 Johnson who could be the most improved player in the conf.They shoot well,don't turn the ball over.A very well disciplined team.Already beat UMass,St Joes and Mizzou.
This game is there "super bowl".When Mckill recruits kids the 1st thing he shows them is there schedule.'look who we play on Dec 18th.".
Cuse team has been inconsistent.What team shows up on any given team.You can throw out all your facts and numbers because they don't mean anything. Mac is shooting 32% from the 3 going 26-80.Today he finds his stroke and hits 5 or 6 and he's back on track.
Boe is playing more man/man.Plays a big lineup and half court offense..or a smaller line up and runs.Nichols,Watkins and Roberts are all athletic and are 6'8,6'9 and 6'11.All 3 hit the bds.But they have struggled vs Cornell,lost to Bucknell,Manhattan in O.Even Colgate defense held them to 58 pts.
Do not see chemistry yet with this team.Have tons of talent. Devondorph scares me.Think he will be a star hopefully in another month.
Davidson is an experinced team.High b-ball IQ,can shoot,adjust,and will keep this game tight.If the Cuse plays like they did to some of the above mentioned teams Davidson wins this out right.Small play because if Cuse brings its "A" they can dominate.But again there to inconsistent to bring there A game.
Mich St minus 3 tds over FIU **
FIU has Almonte.They have already lost by 13,13,25 and 34 to Hof,Fl AM,G.wash and ND.They cannot score,shoot FT's or 3's.Izzo can score at ease.This is a 85-55 game.No back door when your 2nd string in better then the other teams starters.
Northwestern plus over Seton hall *
Hall wins this but talk about two teams that lose vs the ats.I'll take the td plus the pts.Both teams are bad.
