Have you ever seen those little icons in the place of just the regular old and boring mouse pointers on someone else's computer and yah wanted to do it on your own???
There's an easy way to do it, and yah can choose from a little bit of everything. Dinosaurs to musical instruments to 3D choices. The options are endless. It's really not hard at all to do this. It's a cool thing if yah have kids.
In Win XP, you'll first go to
start menu
then the Control Panel.
Click on Appearance and Themes under "Pick a Category."
Next, click on Mouse Pointers. (This option is under "See Also").

Now you'll be in the Mouse Properties window. Click on the tab called Pointers. At the top you'll see options under Scheme. Click on the drop down arrow to look at the different ones available.
Once you click on a Scheme, yah can see a preview of what the pointer will look like by clicking under Customize. Once yah decide on a Scheme, click OK and yah got a customized mouse pointer!

Jax...... guess it's that i've always considered *bud* a male term, and since KMA doesn't fall under that category...figured you could have referred to her as something else.....but hey, if *bud* works for you.....

Ricknjax,
go to Run and type in "msconfig". Check your startup and deselect anything that you don't want starting automatically. The ONLY thing i leave running is my virus scan. Yah probably have too many programs running on start up. Let me know if that helps yah or not. We can go from there, bud!!!
