Sunday's big winner on Texas was just as easy as I predicted. They scored 5 runs in the 1st and never looked back.

Today my big play is Miami over Fullerton. Miami has the better bats, and they somehow find a way to win. After seeing how they disposed of Long Beach State's star pitcher Weaver earlier in the season, I don't see them having any problems today.

In the other game, South Carolina should eliminate LSU. Overall they are the better team. However I don't like this one quite so much as I do Miami, as LSU's bats can rumble. Lane Mestepay is starting for the Tigers today, and he is their best pitcher. LSU beat the Cocks 2 games to 1 in their series in Columbia earlier in the season, so I'd be careful here.

played them both last nite ny reb.

i have been riding miami the last month. they swept both their regional and their super regional and rolled through game 1. they just keep winning. lot of people on lsu today, i think people underestimate the gamecocks. today they will get the job done
