Well, the MLB forum seems a bit more stable than the NBA forum, so I thought I would chime in on this total a bit?

I know that some have commented about the total going UND, but we have not discussed why it could go over also.

8.5 runs in the AL is very low and usually reserved for dominant pitching matchups.

Loaiza may be good, but he's not great as some would think. Some TIGERS in the line-up are batting over .300 against him although they have had limited at-bats.

Knotts is not that great, but OK. His last outing he had an era of over 10.

The UMP is B. Welke has 11.7 arg

The wind in blowing out to left center

I know that these teams haven't scored much, but I think that the total could go over, but probably a no play until I get more information on the lineups.

Anyways, good luck to all today

j, for what it's worth, Welke is also 7-3 over on the year and another denominator I use for Welke is 7-3 calling for the over again. Also calls for the dog. Good luck
