I mentioned this stock several months ago when they announced the results of some mice trials for their sepsis application.

Today they announced that they have filed for a patent that allows them to produce DNA at a fraction of the cost of methods used now.

They are also testing for an aerosol delivery for lung cancer....

....and they also have filed for an international patent for a herpes treatment.

The stock went up 27.5% today and is only trading at $.37 right now. If you read the latest NR and look at the numbers they talked about, and if CYGX can get a major piece, if not all, of that pie, I don't think it will be staying at these levels for long.

People, I don't want to come here and sound overly optimistic, but I'm thinking this could be a once in a life time stock. I follow this stock daily and read everything I can that fellow investors post in regards to the technology, although I don't totally understand it. In laymans terms, they have the ability to keep bacterias, viruses, and cancers from reproducing, thus killing themselves. Although so far it has only been done in the lab and mice, they feel pretty confident they can get the same results in humans.

The NR from yesterday should rake in millions upon millions in revenue whenever they can get this process cranked. I don't know the timeframe for any of this, but they are due to announce the results of some of their studies that have been going on with various universities.

MSM, todays action was the most they have had in a long time, up 54% on 2.1 million shares. Ask yourself this, is a company that could " potentially" have the cure for cancer, influenza, the common cold, herpes and male pattern baldness worth more than $.60/share. It might retrace some after all of the buzz of yesterdays NR wears off, but don't take your eyes off of it for to long. I just have a hunch that there are more goodies on down the road.

MSM, I'm not any kind of trader and don't like telling people what to do with their investments, but if I were you, I would sock this one away and just watch it. Just think of the potential with this one and that ought to tell you how you slhould play this one. If they get one these things on the market, there will be three digits on the left side of decimal point in a hurry. Glad you bought back in. Nobody still seems to know what is fueling all the action over the last few weeks, but I'm guessing some tasty news has leaked out and we might be hearing something in the near future. It might be tempting to try and sell some and hope for a pull back, but if thye release a doozy of a NR, you might not get a chance to get back in at a price anywhere close to where you sold as it could shoot straight up and not look back.

Good Luck and glad we can all make some coin on this one. I haven't sold one share yet and I've got well into five figures worth of shares, lookin for the big payday and an early retirement. It doesn't hurt to dream does it. LOL

Hoops, don't know if you invest in penny stocks very often, but watching the daily price fluctuations will send you to the nut house if you do. The OTC bulletin board is a different arena than the Nasdaq or NYSE. These markets makers are nothing but a bunch of sharks. I've read many stories on some of the crap they pull to try and scare investors out of their shares when they are short. I've held this stock for over five years and if you can find a chart that goes back that far, you will see what I mean as far as price goes. This pull back doesn't surprise me at all with as fast as it went up there was likely to be some profit taking by some who watch nothing but "volume spikes" and day traders. Those that really know what the potential of this company are holding for the long haul. If you haven't bought any yet, look at it as a buying opportunity.

captain, i got in today at .92. i've never invested in a stock under 10 bucks so was just a little worried about the price drop, but wasn't too concerned. figured it was the profit takers getting their share. you're right, staring at the fluctuations is pretty intense, think im gonna stop staring at it. thanks for the tip though, looks like it'll bring some solid returns in the near future. thanks again and good luck to us.

Welcome aboard HoopsGuru. I think the long term prospects for this one are great. Like I said in an earlier post, nobody seems to know what is driving this latest rally, but the Wednesday before Xmas, at about 1PM CST, I had my Ameritrade Streamer on (don't have level 2) and it just started going nuts. It was like a group of people were all calling there broker at the same time and buying and it hasn't really let up until today, but considering what the market as a whole has done today, it is not surprising. As I told MSM, just park this one in the garage and see what it does long term, and don't try and trade it unless you really know what your doing and know all about TA. If the company comes through with just a few of the things they have mentioned in the last year, I'm betting you will be very satisfied with your return.

Still haven't thanked you Captain for turning me on to this stock a long time ago. Have been adding to my position over the past few months and finally have shown a nice profit of late. Unfortunately I grabbed a bunch close to the highs of last year and have not really made much yet but have definitely made some over the past two weeks.

I wholeheartedly support the Captain on this one, and that board. I spend a lot of time there every day learning from some very bright people. This stock truly looks like it could be one of those special ones in my lifetime, and I don't dabble much below the Mendoza line with my investments.

I suggest checking it out, as has been mentioned here. If only one of the 40-some odd pending patents are approved, I personally will be a very happy man. Do some reading of past posts on the I-Hub board and you will see the possibilities.

Franky, go ahead and get my email from Jack. I see you found the Raging Bull board for CYGX. LO has been bashing this stock for along time. Not sure what his motive is, but he even gets personal with some of the posters wishing that their families get some of the diseases that CYGX is working on. A real class act. I personally don't put much faith into anything they have to say. If you have been around RB long enough, you know what I mean as it seems every board has their share of aholes.
