Cowboys fan... and I got nothing. Injuries aside, through 2 games they've looked mostly sloppy and inept. Turnovers vs Giants. 18ish penalties vs Eagles. They had the ball for 40 minutes on Sunday and scored only one touchdown.

Also, I don't trust Garrett. A decent number of Cowboys wins over the years has been due largely in part to Romo magic street ball in the final two minutes. For as much grief as he catches, Romo is an incredible QB.

Now they have Weeden. A mediocre run game. Witten is banged up. Dez is out.

All signs point to Atlanta.

Also consider the under. Dallas will run heavy to "protect" Weeden, and the Cowboys defense is stout. Shut down OBJ in week one. Likely can contain Julius also.

Here is my take....

Here is my take....

Dallas is a mess with the injuries. Romo and Dez are out, Weeden stinks. I'm actually glad they picked up Cassel yesterday, he sucks too but is much better than Weeden who is a bottom feeder. Dallas is very talented on both sides of the ball, both offense and defense. Expect a lot of running and I don't think Weeden will pass too much. Turnovers are more of a possibility for Atlanta.

Atlanta will dominate this game if they execute the pass and run and they will win handily. Look out for Ryan and Jones duo, that could be tricky. They need to run Devonte a lot more than they have in previous games. Passing up and down the field against Dallas will cause turnovers.

As for the coaching, Jason Garrett is so much better than Dan Quinn and there is a huge advantage here. Quinn better know what he is doing or he'll lose. In my opinion, Atlanta has all the tools to win this game and a clear advantage but it will come down to the wire and be much closer than many think. I also think there will not be a lot of points scored - under 45. I plan on treading lightly, but I will bet Dallas +1 and under 45.

I would like to point out that the Cowboys run game does not stink. If you only check stat lines, and don't watch the games, you would think this. Watch and you'll see that Randle has been very impressive getting "dirty yards" against defenses that have vowed to stop the run. They haven't had the big plays that gets ESPN and the public jacked up, but have moved the ball and opened up a lot of what they want to do.

It's pretty hard to sustain 10 min drives when your run game stinks.

Under!! Dallas will pound the run game and play defense at this point going forward. No way they let Weeden loose. They may win this game but they're in trouble with the offensive injuries. The defense still has stud guys out...Hardy etc. Defense is only going to get better.
