shep--how different was the sea team when they beat gbay opening night?:0corn
sea, philly, stl, not horrible teams to have to beat on the road--by any means---weve all been waiting for romo to throw the big int all year
i think cows play better sunday than they did against detroit for sure--definitely wont be as uptight--and detroits d-line was sick--I dont see gbays anywhere near that
dont get me wrong, gbay is tough, shit i like them too--but youll see a different team sun w/ cows just in the fact theyll be able to run better earlier i think and control the line of scrimmage--going to be a fun one--as t o says get your popcorn ready--
Packers were way different. Remember the1-2start many here said packers were down this year I cautioned many and said they always start slow by end of year would be on top. The defense I saw what they were trying and said saw good things even though they lost. Brad jones had 3 or 4 stupid penalties that hurt the team. He is on bench now the Matthews move has been a different and much better defense.when dallas beat seattle many said hawks were not gonns make playoffs. The had internal problems and were playing bad ball. Now on to sunday what is difference with dallas and previous years. Obviously mvpCandidate Denmark Murray. Packer d can contain him and force romo to carry burden. Old dogs cant learn new tricks. Bryant is a front runner when things are going good. He will pout and spout in adversity screaming at teammates and coaches. Romo will be what he's been prior to this year.
And u know this because u can see into the future..
It's always been funny to me how people try and predict certain things will or won't happen with Humans..
9 1/2 out of 10 times there always Wrong...
The whole world is on the Hate the Dallas Wagon
Vegas loves it
Old school gamblers not the loser mush old schoolers know
What I'm talking about
Dallas Wins Straight up
And
EASY
Maybe I know the game saw things and gave my opinion after watching the game. Packers have one of the best offensive lines in nfl. They manhandled a very good lion d line and will do the same to cowboys. Dallas secondary not very good or physical. Lets see in the cold when lacy is pounding them how they hold up in second half. Detroit would have concerned me more. I see a couple of fumbles by murray and 2 picks from romo. Packers get at least 17 points from turnovers win 27-13.
No not offering all it takes is one meaningless score late in the game to not cover that. I still think its a low scoring game Rodgers is only going to be about 70% his calf injury takes 6-8 weeks to recover from. That being said offensive scheme will be to protect him lots of Eddie lacey looking at 30 touches. Short quick passes big day for Randall Cobb. You can forget about packers hurry up offense.ill definitely take cows +14 if youre offering
i understand what the cows were in prior years so i get why youre saying what youre saying--shit last year they lost a 10 pt lead in the 4th qtr losing to detroit at home
if these were the same cows theyd have lost sun when they were down 14-0 after 2 possessions--sorry shlep gbays defense is not as dominant over cows as much as you might think:
total yds----
gbay def 15th
dallas def 19th (dallas run d better)
takeaways
dallas 31
gbay 27
pts allowed
gbay 348
dallas 352
btw yes ill take 14 for a small friendly wager:toast:
I will say this if you want to go with history Rodgers only home playoff win was against a joe Webb lead Viking team. how will Rodgers play in the cold with bad calf. I'm thinking they are leading on how bad it is. Dallas must must must run it but I don't know how much pass rush the pack will generate
as to lacy and the offensive line. lacy is a decent back running if, he's elite catching it though. his running numbers are skewed because teams are playing 5-6 man box to stop Rodgers, that's a great plus the Packers have, makes it a lot easier for the offensive line and I don't think the dallas fans are fully aware of that huge advantage the Packers have. if I were the Cowboys I would do what the saints did to Favre aces years back hit Em and hit Em late if you have too. Dallas won't get away with it like the saints did but if you notice a weakness with Rodgers is he can get flustered by taking hits they all do but in the three games he got hit and pressured he wasn't very good so it maybe wise to be a little dirty
another factor that will be key is Dallas footing. Lambeau is great but the playing surface sucks and dallas will need to figure this out
Lacey has almost the same average as Murray he just got the ball 80 less times. Also this year he is healthy he will get the ball a lot running and screen passes. I feel sorry for cowboys secondary they will shy awayfrom tackling him 2nd half than you got Starks complete different back to deal with.
Witten could be a huge problem. Defensively packers first priority is stopping the run. The defense sees a better offensive line at practice every day. They want romo to throw.I like Lacey as a pass catcher more, obviously he's effective at Green Bay, I don't like him much on short yardage, if teams know he is getting it, it takes too long for him to get going but he's awesome with Packer's system and thats all that matters.
I don't know if Green Bay has seen an offensive line this good this season and a team with this balanced and offensive attack. Other teams they were able to get pressure on the Qb, Will they here? Can Dallas exploit the Packers and hit Witten about 10 times. i would go to Witten early and often then pop DEZ
Talk about a guy who hasn't picked a winner yet this year..
Weren't u the guy who I shut down about the Packers early this season..
Like I said
Dallas Wins Straight up.
If the line were 7 then I would say NO shot in the World the Cowboys win..
VEGAS isn't Stupid leaving this line at 6
No, I'm the guy who told you green bay would beat Philly by 20, and they actually won by 30. This is a real bad match up for dallas. Green Bay struggles against good front 7 ' s and good corners, Dallas has neither of those.

I agree with most of what you said. I think aaron and mccarthy are playing this calf injury up a tad. I know it's "torn" but all strains have a tear of some sort. I know dallas o-line is good, but romo still got sacked 6 times last week. I see green bay going up big early and coasting.so true...
they will do their best to clamp down the run..and can do so..
problem is Rodgers..if healthy...and concerns today after the report...
if he throws 40 times...it ain't always a bad thing.
in fact it can be because they find the weak link and go after it..
Boys pass D well known to be less than stellar..
Pack is no D powerhouse either though
Teams with a decent O moved the ball against them..
20 degrees at game time projected...thanks to 1pm start EST..
so nobody is freezing ..ala the "Ice Bowl"
one is shit vs the rush and the other shit vs the pass.
both teams get 20...
???? is how it falls that way..
2 minutes and change left
odds are it's 27-20 and Dallas denied the tying score..
Major turn around for "Americas Team this year..
But tuff to ask the "not quite ready D" to go to GB and take out Rodgers and Jordy..
tall order..

If you really think about strength's and weaknesses of these teams, it's a really bad match up for dallas. As good as Seattle is dallas would have a better chance to beat them than green bay, because Seattle pounds you on the ground and the games are usually closer dallas would have a better chance of being in that game late than they do against green bay. Green Bay will score as they want and Dallas will have to play catch up, Which isn't dallas strength.
romo will not get pressured like he did last week. packers don't match up well against Dallas run game. will see what the gut says on Sunday. Dallas defense may struggle
