I am not sold on Dallas being able to win by
the -10 1/2 with Roy Williams suspended , the new center, and Glenn not being ready yet.

But lets face it, Dallas needs to bounce back here and take the Panthers apart who have a rookie QB in Moore starting only his second game.

Dallas dumped Moore in August so he may have that payback mentality. But I doubt it.

Panthers dont have a tight end to rely on. Cowboys Newton will need to shut down Steve Smith and this game is over.

Julius Peppers is not playing and Romo should be able to stand in the pocket tonight and pick the Panthers apart. Panthers do not blitz much and rely on their four up front to pressure the QB.

Lets see, a rookie QB going against a Dallas team bound for the playoffs, and fighting for home field advantage. Dallas is going to blitz him crazy. Dallas stops Foster and Panthers run game, and Moore will be stuck like a hog.

Big play for me here trusting Dallas to dominated.

The Dallas Cowboys defense should dominate tonight. Shouldn't be too much to ask against a Carolina team that ranks 29th in the league in total offense and is quarterbacked by a kid the Cowboys cut in August.

Matt Moore will be the fourth inexperienced starting QB the Cowboys have faced this season. Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers performed well in relief of Brett Favre, but the Phillips 3-4 has feasted on the three young QBs it game-planned to face.

Trent Edwards, Bills: Completed 23 of 31 passes for 176 yards in his second start, but the Bills' offense produced only three points, allowing the Cowboys to pull off an amazing comeback despite six turnovers by Tony Romo. Edwards' only interception was huge, as Terence Newman's fourth-quarter interception cost the Bills at least a field goal.

Tarvaris Jackson, Vikings: The second-year pro looked like he'd never seen an NFL defense before while completing only six of 19 passes for 72 yards. RB Adrian Peterson rushed for a 20-yard TD on the first drive, the only points produced by the Vikings' offense.

Kellen Clemens, Jets: WR Laveranues Coles being inactive certainly didn't help Clemens on Thanksgiving, but he was awful. He completed only 12 of 27 passes for 142 yards. The Jets only scored three points, but Clemens did throw a touchdown pass -- to Terence Newman

To say Julius Peppers has been fine this season would be doing an injustice to rest of his illustrious career in Carolina. He's got just three sacks, after entering this season with 53.5 over his first five years in the league, though he has piled up 19 QB hurries.

But I don't think it'd be going too far to say that there will be some happy Cowboy linemen if the "doubtful" that now stands next to Peppers' name reads "inactive" tomorrow night.

In five career games against Dallas, Peppers has seven sacks, 11 quarterback pressures, two passes defensed, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two interceptions, returned for a total of 55 yards. Peppers posted three sacks in two of those games, and had at least one in three of them. And in one he didn't -- the 2003 playoff undressing of Dallas -- Peppers had a staggering six pressures.

Now, he did have his least impressive effort against the Cowboys the last time these teams played, last December (0 sacks, 1 pressure, 5 tackles). Still, because of the way he must be accounted for, he's a difference-maker the minute he straps on the shoulder pads.
..............................................................

Even if he plays he will not be 100% or may have to sit down early.

Dallas Cowboys Injury report

The Cowboys had a walkthrough at Valley Ranch today, prior to boarding the charter for North Carolina, and the injury report came across as expected. Here's the lowdown:

Ugly is as ugly does.

If Moore struggles they could put in Vinny Testicle:142smilie

Cowboys should have enough Blitz packages to confuse the chit out of poor Moore.

I hate it when its this easy

AccuScore
Once again, Dallas won 83% of AccuScore?s simulations. Here is the preview:

The outcome of the game is coming down to Tony Romo and his touchdown to interception ratio. In the 80 percent of simulations where the Cowboys win, Romo averages 2.2 TD passes vs. just 1 interception. In Cowboys losses he averages 1.5 TD passes and 1.5 interceptions. After several quiet weeks look for Terrell Owens to have a big game with a 50 percent chance of reaching 100 yards and 1 TD. Teams are going to start gearing up to contain Jason Witten which should leave Owens open for some big plays.

Yeh we know the Cowboys are a good team, but they are coming into our house. We intend to play some smash mouth football and send them back to Dallas with their little tails tucked under their asses ! .

Tell T Owens to watch his back for crackback blocks that will keep him out of the end zone, that little punk ass bitch.

Jessica Simpson can just stay home in Hollywood, we wont need her come Saturday night.

We are going to break Tony Romos other hand

NFL 2007 Record 9-2 ... + $2,270.00

Game Summary

Dallas comes through with a win over the Panthers who were playing for something but just couldnt put things together.

The play that stands out for me was Steve Smith of the Panthers. End of game. Smith catchs a 57 yard pass and goes down on the sidelines writhing in pain with a shoulder injury ( probably his mama and family was in the stands) So the drama is over, he goes out for the required one play, they cannot move the ball. Smith heroically comes back into the game like he is a healed superman.

Smith is a head case. Vick used to do the same thing and A Hall with the Falcons does it at times.
At one point last season A Hall and Smith ate dinner before a game was played the next day.

what a joke.

Barber is a bruiser at running back. Hope TO is ok , as Dallas will need him. Romo stood in the pocket well all night. Panthers really did miss Peppers.

Sometimes things just work out.
