VAN first game back after a looooong 7 game road trip in which they went 1-2-4 SU. Naslund and Cassels are out, VAN's top 2 scorers. D. Sedin will return tonight, however. Dallas plying better, have tied a modern day record (since 1943-44) by allowing one goal or less for seven consecutive games...nothing to scoff at there. Brodeur looks to be in top form. Stars have 4th best road PK in NHL (86%), and are tied with BUF for fewest goals allowed this season. Def carries the day. Stars' offense has been working too, averaging 3.6 L5 on the road and 4.0 L5 overall. As for the Canucks, well what can I say about them except that lately they have been just average or worse in all respects.
