Damage Control: Bubba Wallace Abandons Noose Narrative After Embarrassing CNN Interview
[link to www.zerohedge.com (secure)]

Hours after an embarrassing CNN interview in which he clung to the noose theory (see below), NASCAR's Bubba Wallace backpeddled with a Wednesday tweet - in which he appears to acknowledge that a garage pull in his bay at Talladega Supserspeedway wasn't a noose.

In other words, after going 'full Smollett,' Bubba likely hired a crisis management firm which advised him to dispense with the noose talk and issue a statement he should have made the second after the FBI concluded there was no foul play.

Bubba Wallace praises FBI as they find no evidence of hate crime after 'noose' in his NASCAR garage stall is found to be a door pull - and says 'we'll gladly take a little embarrassment over what the alternatives could have been'
The FBI said the 'noose' could not have been installed to target Bubba Wallace
A Youtube video from 2019 showed a pull rope with a noose hanging from the garage door in the same stall used by Wallace's team at Talladega on Sunday
At the time of that video, the stall was being used by a white driver, Paul Menard
Other videos show the garage ropes were tied into nooses as early as 2016
It had been feared that Wallace was targeted after he successfully pushed for NASCAR to ban Confederate flags. He is the circuit's only black full-time driver
The 26-year-old Wallace has accepted that he wasn't the victim of a racist attack: 'I was relieved just like many others to know that it wasn't targeted towards me'
Wallace did not find the 'noose' and wasn't the person who reported it. He says he 'was adamant' about searching the garages to make sure it wasn't a rope pull
Wallace thanked the FBI and said he will 'gladly take a little embarrassment'

I love how the noose is ok, because its "been there a while"!

I love how everything is racist these days, I mean EVERYTHING! National landmarks, Food, cartoons, etc. The media is ridiculous with keeping this shit going. Any educated white or black human being will acknowledge there is a level of racism on both sides (black and white...yes believe it or not there are racist black people) but if we just let the little things go like Uncle freakin Ben being on a pack of rice then the world will be a better place. We don't have to twist and turn everything into being racist, it is possible to just peacefully co exist the way things have been for 150 years.

I actually think Bubba is a pretty good dude. Remember back when fellow racer Kyle Larson let the "N" word fly during an I race? Bubba was the first driver standing up for him saying how he didn't think Larson was a racist and that he made a mistake and deserved a second chance and wanted to work with him to make him understand things better. I can respect that. I think Bubba is a pretty sincere guy.

Prejudice is when a person negatively pre-judges another person or group without getting to know the beliefs, thoughts, and feelings behind their words and actions. A person of any racial group can be prejudiced towards a person of any other racial group. There is no power dynamic involved.

Bigotry is stronger than prejudice, a more severe mindset and often accompanied by discriminatory behavior. It?s arrogant and mean-spirited, but requires neither systems nor power to engage in.

Racism is the system that allows the racial group that?s already in power to retain power. Since arriving on U.S. soil white people have used their power to create preferential access to survival rights and resources (housing, education, jobs, voting, citizenship, food, health, legal protection, etc.) for white people while simultaneously impeding people of color?s access to these same rights and resources.Though ?reverse racism? is a term I sometimes hear, it has never existed in America. White people are the only racial group to have ever established and retained power in the United States.

These things have always been racist.

Just like calling gay men queers and fags was "no big deal" until queers and fags had a fit.

Right. And just like it's ok for gay men to call each other queers and fags and black men to call each other niggaz but how dare you as a straight man say queer or fag or as a white man too say the N word

This is something that gets brought up alot that I don't quite understand. So are you asking why is it ok for black people to call each other niggaz and you can't? Do you have a big urge to call them that? Do you really want to call gay people queers or fags? I guess I don't have those urges. I am not saying that I never have said these terms, but I understand why it's not ok for me to say it. I am ok with calling black people African Americans and gay people well just people. The same with black people. They are different from me in color and/or sexuality, but I don't feel like I have to point that out in what they perceive as a derogatory way. Of course you know that. It's probably ok for you to call your fellow gays fags but you would be offended if a straight person called you a fag?
