Neemer thks for getting this in one spot for us. Now I don't have to chase it all down.
Spotted a couple to watch. I think W Burton is about ready and Benson is ready for alittle let down. I like Marlin over Waltrip.
Park over Skinner. But I must say this. I want to check practice out. Qualf does mean something. But I like practice info better. At least they are useing there race setup when practicing.

At first glance....

I'm really likin' Jeff Burton -110 vs. Ricky Rudd -120. J. Burton has gotten off to a pretty rough start but keep in mind he was picked to contend for the Winston Cup Pts. Championship before the season started. Darlington Raceway is a track that Jeff Burton has seen much success. In 1999, Burton dominated both Darlington events by taking home the victories. The first place finish at the Southern 500 earned Burton and a race fan a cool million dollars by winning the No Bull 500. We?ve been real successful at tracks that get slippery and where tire wear is an issue. And when it comes to a track where tire wear is crucial ? Darlington is a perfect example. I have always liked that racetrack. I am comfortable at that track. It?s fun for me, and the team likes the track so that makes for a good race result. Rudd enters Sunday's race ninth in the point standings after a sixth-place finish in Atlanta.

"We've been really good all year," Rudd said. "We came out of Daytona with a fourth-place finish. We had mechanical problems at Rockingham and Las Vegas that dropped us back in the standings. Then we rallied at Atlanta for a solid finish. Rudd finished 8th at Darlington last year...

No doubt about it, Jeff Gordon appears to have the best car so far in the early season. Think he's worth a shot at -125 even if it against Dale Jarrett....Gordon has won five Darlington races in a span of seven races!!

Waltrip -120 vs. Nadeau -110. Waltrip's team has probably improved more than anyones this year by hooking up with Dale Earnhardt's race team. He was very impressive at Daytona where he came away with a 1st place finish. Ya got to think he'll have as good a car as anyone. Waltrip actually still holds the track record at 138.14 mph, since '92. Waltrip is 5th in Winston Cup pts while Nadeau is in 7th place. Nadeau is having an excellent year so far but he has MAJOR problems at the Darlington track. Nadeau has NEVER finished a race at Darlington on the lead lap! Even with that unbelievable stat, I still think Nadeau +100 is money in the bank against Jeremy Mayfield -130.

Some others by just glancing....

J. Burton -125 vs. Stewart -105

Benson -140 vs. WARD Burton +110

BOBBY Labonte -120 vs. Elliott Sadler -110???????? I still don't get this one! The reigning Wiston Cup Champ will get things back in order, and I believe it'll start Sunday...

Blaney -135 vs. Harvick -105. Damn hard to put two really good races back to back; plus Blaney's car in Atlanta was pretty damn solid...

Kurt Busch -115 vs. Todd Bodine -115. Busch has put together two solid races finishing 11th and 10th. "We are definitely beginning to hit our stride," Busch said. "Our top-10 finish in Atlanta was our second great finish in a row. As long as we keep doing what we're doing, great finishes will continue to follow." Busch was rookie of the year in Craftsman Truck series last year and actually has 4 different rookie of the year awards. He'll no doubt get some help from some of his teammates Martin, Burton, and Kenseth...He started 4th in Atlanta and should have had a top #5 finish till he had a late accident on the restart. Bodine is the replacement driver for Darrell Waltrip's Big K car. His best championship finish was 20th in 1994 while driving for Butch Mock, for whom he scored his best career finish, third at Atlanta. He made his Winston Cup debut for Mock in 1992 at Watkins Glen.

Yes that Burton over Rudd another good one to watch. Im Looking like you said for Burton to show up soon. Same reason Ii like the other Burton over Benson. And yes your right the young kid may have had to good a week. Could have let down this week after that big win.

DJ....

Agree about qualifying but these are just 1st look impressions...

I think W Burton is about ready and Benson is ready for alittle let down.

I dunno, Ward has certainly had an extremely chitty year so far. I realize he won here last year, but this looks like a completely different team. He has yet to crack the top 10 in any of the first four races running 35th, 16th, 21st, and 11th. His average finish to date is 20th. Benson on the other hand has to be this years biggest surprise and I think it has mostly to do with him being reunited with crew chief James Ince. He damn near pulled out the win in Daytona a few weeks back. Last three races Benson has finished #6th, #4th, and #7th. "Nascar this Week" has him rated as the third best driver, right behind Gordon and Jarrett. He sits third in the Winston Cup point standings with 540.

I like Marlin over Waltrip.

I'm LOVIN' this one! Sterling has been in every race so far this year. Consistent as hell!! Besides the race in Atlanta, he's had a shot at winning each of the 1st three races....

Park over Skinner

Park in my opinion is a top #10 driver and has fallen on some bad breaks this season...Why he is +100 against Skinner is beyond me....

Another one to keep an eye on....

Pressley -115 vs. Rick Mast -115

Pressley actually found himself 8th in points after the 1st three races. I'm not a big Jasper engine fan but surely they've got enough to beat Mast! In his 1st three races, Pressley finished 14th, 12th, & 16th. Mast on the other hand has run only 1 Winston Cup race so far this year. Since 1988 Mast has started 339 times with only 7 top 5 finishes. Last year he ran in 29 WC races and finished in the top 10 2 times. In 2001 he finished 32nd at Rockingham. He failed to qualify at Daytona and LasVegas.

you do know that those are qualifying matchups at olympic and race matchups at
wsex. right? Sounds like some of you think
those matchups at olympic are race matchups.
They aren't!!
The reason Skinner is -130 over park
in a qualifying matchup is because
in the last 5 visits to darlington park
has qualified 39th,31st,39th,29th,31st
while skinner was 4th,23rd,8th,4th,13th
5-0 for skinner. I think he makes it 6-0 sat

I have no earthly idea why Mayfield is getting all kinds of respect in this race. Out of the 4, he's had one decent race and that was the first at Daytona where he finished 9th. Other than that, he hadn't done much of anything...
