Dawkins to start
It's official. Safety Brian Dawkins will play for the first time since suffering a Lisfranc sprain to his right foot in Week 1's loss to Tampa.
"I've been able to do pretty much everything," Dawkins said following Friday's practice. "It's not 100 percent. It feels good."
Dawkins said he's not a "sixth man" and plans to start and, unless he's a bit winded, play the whole game.
"If I'm going to play, I'm going to play," he said.
While Dawkins wants to play every snap, coach Andy Reid is going to be cautious.
"Just right off the top, we?re really not counting on him for the whole game," Reid said. "We?ll just see how he feels as we actually go through the game.?
