Hey guys.....here's hoping everyone is finding some profit this week!

Any action or thoughts on these afternoon games? The Braves game has already started, but if anyone wants to rap about this afternoon's action, lets give it a whirl.....

I took Milwaukee -111. Brewers are 20-9 at home as a favorite for a net gain of +733. I've had them the last two nights of this series, so hopefully they'll get the rubber game and i'll have a slight Brew Crew profit.

Anyone have any stats on how pitchers do in their next start after brawling with a teammate in the dugout? Just asking. :142smilie

I also like Seattle. I've actually been riding them a bit lately. Five winners in the last week. It was not by design, no special insight on my part, its just how the chips fell.

Am i pushing my luck like the M's tonight? They've been pretty lucky the last two nights against Baltimore. I have a few hours to ponder.

Good luck to everyone!

If memory serves me correctly, a similar incident happened last year with Toronto(fight...); I bet against them for that reason & took a beating. I suspect the players may be sensitive to the media's attention & therefore have additional motivation to prevent being shamed.
T.Prophet, I'm not a capper, let alone a good one like many in this forum, but I thought that maybe last years incident withw Toronto & their pitcher might be of interest to you.

Yeah, and Suppan cant find the plate either...Rats!!!

Husky.....good insight there.....are you talking about the Lilly incident or something else?

Regardless, i have always been a big Zambrano fan, but his performance this season is one of the more perplexing things i have seen in recent years. We'll see if he can keep it up today, but he's had a few games this year already where it looked like smooth sailing and then the wheels fell off.

Here's hoping that happens today!

Otherwise, already chasing my bets today!!

Whats the best chance to make it up this afternoon: Twins vs Angels or O's vs M's....both home teams going for the sweep.

Any insights?

prophet - personally I think the Angels is the way to go, I have them on the RL because I refuse to lay that kind of juice on any team. Lackey has been solid so far this year and if I recall correctly he has a decision in all of his starts. That's pretty good. Plus the Angels got Anderson back a couple games ago and have put together a nice little 4 game win streak. I look for them to make it 5 in a row today against the youngin'. My prediction is Angels win by 4 or 5. Gl with what you play.

T.Prohet, I like Seatle alot. They came back from behind TWICE to win both games; to me this reflects opposing attitudes on behalf of the players on both teams.Attitude wins in my opinion. Also they're "affordable" at -1.30.
I like LAA but TOO expensive & don't like the run line since they already won the last two games.(no disrespect intended twoards MoeshY-13-,an EXCELENT capper).

Good luck to you T.Prohet with your plays.

Ahhh.....Brew Crew not doing it today, thought maybe they had a rally going that inning!!

Not only is Z pitching well, but he's bringing it at the plate.......maybe, finally he is channeling all that energy properly.

Commence chasing your bet.....now :142smilie

Hey guys thanks for the advice.

Husky: I was taking Seattle anyway, but was open to any info that would get me off of them. Like i said, i have inwittingly been riding them the last week and picked up five winning bets!! I know, I know, you're happy for me......but you are dead on about that team's mindset....on Sunday, they fell behind 4-0 to Texas, but stormed back.....and, i've watched both games vs. O's and you could just feel they were about to break through, and they did.......during the broadcast, it was mentioned that they are the top hitting team in the league the last three weeks.

MoeshY-13.....thanks for the tip. I've been on the Angels a lot this year.......kinda surprised the juice has been so high in the MInnesota series....call me a square, but i laid the big juice on them today. Slowey looked good in his debut, but this Angels team has been rolling of late!

Thanks and good luck!!
