Episode 1: "The Gamble" April 10th
Wow, it looks like the crews are going to be in for it this season. Half the quota on "Red Crabs" and the allure of the big money on the "Blue Crabs". That should make for a good first 6 episodes.
And ya gotta like Captain Elliot Neese from the Ramblin' Rose when he said "Unlike others out here Daddy didn't give me this boat, I earned it". That was a nice little jab to some others on the show. Thems fighting words I tell ya:scared
Oh and Captain Bill Wichrowski will go apeshit if he has another season with inept deckhands. I don't think he can take another season like last time out.

why don't you just watch The Young and the Restless. Same silly shit u drama queen
I've got to think that Discovery was thrilled when the quota was cut in half for the reds...it's going to make for good story lines as far as the guys who went for the reds vs the blues. Not that the show was getting stale but it did peak my interest a bit more.
Jake Harris still looks strung out, it's a shame.

Saint....agreed, should make for a great 1st half of the season. As for Elliot, ya gotta respect that young dude. Worked his ass off to get where he is and has tons of pressure on him. Yet, he takes a big gamble all the time. Gotta respect that guy.
And don't forget he makes way less money then the other Captains, way less. Don't forget some of em do pretty well "off season" with commercials, talk shows, etc, etc,. Not Elliot.

Pretty bush league of the rambling rose there at the end. But the line about having enough pots to empty a tring on barren grounds just to mind fuck elliott is classic.
Episode 2: "Turf War" April 17th
Not the smartest move by Elliot Neese but Elliot is right you can't buy Real Estate in the Beiring Sea.
I remember many times throughout the seasons where boats have been next to one another and nothing was said. And let's be real here, you hear many times various captains say "this is my spot" when in actuality it isn't.
But with all that being said, Elliot Neese is in his 20's and maybe it isn't quite the time to make a move like he did.
Oh and I love this quote:
"Waves don't kill deckhands, captains kill deckhands"
That was deep.
The Bering Sea is massive. He could have dropped pots 3 miles from the other boat. He literally dropped them on top of theirs.
