as someone who has bet or teased KC every single game this year--to many a :), I have been waiting for one to go against, and this seems the time ... denver a fave? the same team a week ago couldnt beat CHI at home, what smells here? Portis might run holes thru Chiefs and Jake might bootleg some big plays so Ill roll dice with KC suffering 2nd loss of year ... I was shocked broncs were a fave, tho they shoulda beat KC in KC ...

Just my opinion based on watching KC I think this team is overrated and will not make it to the AFC championship game. They cannot stop the run, they get very little pressure on the quaterback. Their special teams coverage kickoff and punt coverage is horrible. Their wide receivers are average their best receiver is their tight end. Trent Green is average. This team lacks something they cannot put teams away when leading in games. Their special team return game carried them to at least 3 wins.Denver at home beats them by 10 on Sunday.

i agree

i agree

portis is the key....though k.c. continues to do enough to win,i suspect it will be portis early and often sunday, with enough rod smith and shannon sharp to get the w.....

never liked plummer....he scares me....but have to lay the lousy 2(bought half) with the broncos....

broncos need to keep winning to keep their wildcard hopes alive...

Let me start out by saying that I'm a HUUUGGGE KC fan!!

That being said, I've been totally disgusted by their play in the past 3 weeks. When they hit 8 wins I think they knew they were in the playoffs with the schedule they had left. They've put themselves on cruise control, hoping for no injuries. Obviously, the O is in tact, but the D is short of LB's.

I had this game circled when I checked their last 8 games, bc I knew if they were undefeated when this game came up that this would be the game that they would give up. Yes, they do have home field to play for, but if the Jets win tonight and Miami wins at NE next week, then Home field should be no problem with our remaining schedule. DET @ H, MINNY ON RD, & CHICAGO @ H. There's no reason on God's green earth that they can't go 2-2 to finish this season 13-3.

Sorry, got off track a little bit. I would have to side with you guys on this week's game. Denver has it's playoff life riding on this game and KC will try and come out of it w/o to many injuries. I would also have to agree with Gardenwiesel on the fact that Portis should go off this week. With KC's LB's banged up, the front 4 will have to stop him b4 he gets going, and nobody has done that this yr. to Portis. No big hitter's in the corner or safety position either. However, they make up for it with their opportunistic play. KC's tops in the league in TO margin.

By the way, the fact that Green appears to be an avg. QB is bc dipshits like Morton and Kennison can't catch a cold. I look for Hall to be much more involved in the O as the season wears on. Green complete's 62% of his passes with 19td and 9 int's and a 91.8 QB rating. I would have to say that he's a little above avg.

Green and Holmes remind me of another Duo that seemed unstoppable. Aikman's accuracy and Smith's running won a few championships. and I faintly remember a TE that helped Dallas along the way named JAY NOVACHEK. So, if my TE is the best receiver on the field, then I don't mind as long as he's the best in the League!

GO CHIEFS!!!!

Before jumping on the Bronco bandwagon..........I will have to say if you look at the past 2 weeks Denver really hasnt looked very good. Everyone knows what happened last week against the Bears, yesterday the Broncos were very fortunate to win.......if not for some stupid 4th down penalties, ill-timed fumbles and Rick Mirer at qb the broncos would have lost. The bronco wrs dont scare anyone and Plummer seems limited to me. Broncos used to be nails in Denver but in the last 3 yrs they are just about average...........Tough game to me

JUST AN OPINION HERE, BUT KC SEEMS TO PLAY DOWN TO IT'S COMPETITION AND THEY WILL BE PLAYING FOR HOME FIELD. I'M FROM KC AND FOLLOW THIS TEAM RELIGIOUSLY. I REALLY BELIEVE THEY WIN THIS GAME BY A TOUCHDOWN. DENVER IS JUST NOT VERY GOOD AND PRIEST WILL RUN FOR MORE THEN CLINTON. CHIEFS TAKE OVER IN THE 4TH QUARTER.
