Deciding your childrens names....

If you have kids what made you choose the name you gave them?

My kids are Breanna Lee and Kolby Paul.

Bre and I have the same initials, BLR and Kolby and my ex hubby Kevin have the same initials KPR. Bre has my middle name which is also the middle name of my mom, dad, grandfather, and was also my great grandfather's first name. Kolby has Kevin's middle name. Which was also Kevin's dads first name.

PaSprint and his son Reese also have middle names of Lee and both of their initials match, RLS. Lee was also his dad's middle name.

After my kids were a few years old I realized I named my children after CHEESE!! Bre and Kolby. Spelled differently of course, Brie and Colby cheeses. PaSprint named his after CANDY! Reese

Needless to say I think we like food too much.

So how about you..........

My son's middle name was almost "Danger".

No joke.

Only reason why is because who uses their middle name? (Unless you go by your middle as first)

This way he would have been able to say "Danger is my middle name. "

Instead, we chose Verris. That is the first name of my grandfather who was in WWII in a POW camp and was a General.

We chose that name to honor him, instead of a silly name.

But if we have another child and its a boy, his middle name could very well be Danger. I am completely serious.

My son is named after his paternal grandfather and maternal grandfather Michael Gregory


My daughter is Melanie Claire which has no affiliation to family at all, we wrote 5 names we liked and Melanie and Claire was on both lists

Our Daughter is Kelsey Annetta......Wife and I liked the name Kelsey..... Anneatta comes from the combo of our Mothers names----Anne & Etta (my moms middle name).....Her nickname is" Kelsanator"


Our Son is Trevor Richard.....Both liked the name Trevor.....Richard come from my Father/Brother & Best Friends first name......His nickname is "Trevor Richard Dorkhead".....Long Story

Kristyn was just a name I liked and Noelle came from her Christmastime birth day.

I was going to go with Raygan Rae and changed my mind as they were washing her off.
