The Philadelphia Eagles are trading DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans, according to a report from ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. Murray's agency confirmed the news on Twitter. This trade hardly comes as a surprise. Just hours ago it was reported that an AFC team had interest in Murray and that the Eagles had finalized a deal shipping him out for good. It was previously reported multiple times that Murray was unhappy in Philadelphia.

Who are the Eagles getting in return? Moving up in draft order? A few drafts picks? A player to be named later?

If the Eagles get to move up on the draft board, and acquire an extra early round pick, I'm all for this. Zeke Elliott would look great in a Philly uniform!

Eagles seem to be getting rid of Chip's acquisitions to speight themselves it appears.

Re-signing Bradford was a mistake!! RGIII has better legs and better athlete than Bradford and in Pederson's scheme he's had with other teams, he's had mobile QBs, last one is Smith w/KC Chiefs.

They are not going to win with complacency and just making moves to get rid of Chip's roster fail!

I just read that all the teams did was swap 4th round picks, nothing more....Think it is a bad trade by the Eagles if true...

Not a real bad trade AR, I thought that too. They save some big bucks by trading DeMarco Murray. And they will pick up a FA or draft Marshall from Georgia in 2nd round or later. I like the kid, have known him for a bit. He had best 40 time and he's a lot like Shady McCoy but faster and bigger physically, broad shoulders thick at the hip area.

I'm sure that they got the best deal they could get, but Murray was the top back in the NFL 2 years ago....He was a poor fit for Chip's offense & became a malcontent on the team so I guess that is why he was traded...

Did you just compare Keith Marshall to Shady McCoy?

Height, strength, speed, hands. Yep, I did!! ;)

Do you see anything different? Oh and Marshall played tougher competition in SEC than Shady did for Pitt. Of course, Shady was what now, 7-8 years ago in College?

Marshall could be one of those that makes a name for himself imo, only because he played on same club as ROY, Gurley and Chubb is pretty good too, if Marshall was in any other program, he'd probably be the #1 go to guy, but I could be wrong.

When I worked for the Bills, other scouts laughed at me because I wanted Rod Kush & Danny Fulton and they had decent NFL careers.

Of course I was only 17 and 18 years old when I sent my reports into Buffalo way back then when I was in High School. But they paid me $250 back then, which was a lot of change for a teenager. LOL!! "Bird dog" contract for recommendations.

;)

I really thought DeMarco got screwed up by Chip's offensive scheme because Dallas had a totally different offensive approach and a better run flow of blockers, I think he'll do great with Tennessee's offense and he had a lot less carries in 2015-16 season so he has no excuse that his legs aren't fresher coming into training camp and off-season drills.
