Bubbas1, Boy do these pics bring back memories. I did the Derby about 15 years ago.I had a 69 Nova and had a blast!!! I was one of the last 2 cars left in my heat,I thought I was one bad mofo out their,thinking I was going to just run around until the other guy ran out of gas....NOT.........I got the chit beat out of me..that guy just destroyed my car ...Let me tell you this,the other guy had a Chrysler Impala and that thing ran and hit like a tank...He won everything that year..Now within the past 5 years our county fair has banned a certin year of the Impala from the derby.
Anyways the Derby will be something that I will never forget!!!
