First heard reference to this on the Bill Maher show friday night. He's a cut & paste from the NYT. Very funny.

By JIM DWYER

AJAF, Iraq, April 2 ? In the giddy spirit of the day, nothing could quite top the wish list bellowed out by one man in the throng of people greeting American troops from the 101st Airborne Division who marched into town today.

What, the man was asked, did he hope to see now that the Baath Party had been driven from power in his town? What would the Americans bring?

"Democracy," the man said, his voice rising to lift each word to greater prominence. "Whiskey. And sexy!"

One other funny thing...

A guy on the radio this morning said that "Chemical Ali" was formerly known as "Gaseous Clay".

let me know if you got it and then I'll edit it out.

normally, i just go in and delete EVERYTHING that's in there. I don't use it for anything, so put something like FROM BLAZER in the subject.

and flip-flopper arianna "whomever pays me and puts me on the air" huffington.....a couple of waste`s of oxygen.....and the little "african american " guy who compares bush to hussein.....they all sit back and pontificate about how horrible america is.....each one is probably a millionaire....they pontificate and i watch and then defecate....i think huffington is the more despicable....wasn`t she as right wing as could be a couple of years ago?....then,she gets a regular spot on maher`s show and voila!!!!!....she rolled over like a ten dollar skeezer.....she`s every bit as bad as dick morris, bill crystol and geraldo....anybody that thinks she`s clever, take a deeper look....whichever way the wind blows...so much for conviction...

Weas-

I kinda liked huff and stuff. She was just promoting her book. Everthing she said has not so thinly veiled references to her book.

The little "african american" guy was way off base, rude, and had a weird shake about himself. He was useless. The crowd was very left and cheered at all his anti-bush nonsense.

Nuntheless, the show is a good show

i liked maher`s old show.....the same format here(3 liberals and 1 conservative....i suppose that makes it a fair exchange of ideas:rolleyes:))....the timing of huffy`s "conversion" leaves me cold.... i could see her changing her mind on some issues....but to do a total flip flop in ideology, stinks to high heaven....to convenient....is she on maher every week?....if so,that speaks volumes....would you or anybody else change your whole political philosophy in one fell swoop?...i have changed certain opinions....i believe in a woman`s right to choose....i believe taxes are ridiculous....i believe corporations need some governmental oversight...i thought the lewinsky/clinton impeachment fiasco was a disgrace and a waste of time and resources...i`m much more conservative......but,i`m all over the board.... i try to be an independent thinker....i don`t expect a bolt to come out of the blue and change my ideology in one shot......unless,of course, somebody offers me a talk show:D ......

Money talks. If I could do PR for Rush Limbaugh or James Carville and get paid what thier PR guys get paid, Hell ya.

I'm a freedomist myself. I made up that term so don't bother with the google search. I have strong Libertarian tendancys but there canidates kinda creep me out. I like the Repubs, but they need some more color and diversity. I like the Demos, but they need some centering and need to stop with the spending. I digress....

Money Talks and I don't fault anyone for making it. Pay me 500K a year and I will promote Micheal Jackson's Daycare.

Huffington is simply annoying, but that guy sitting next to her is worse. He whines. And by whines, I mean whiiiiiines. It comes out his nose. He needs a smacking.

The black guy, I like. He's the author of the Boondock's comic strip, which, even if you disagree with his ideology, is the only comic outside of Doonesbury with the nuts to say ANYTHING political. A VERY "Bloom County" type comic in art and tone.

He was outmatched on Friday because he was up against two people who argue on tv for a living and he got a little dumb at times.

I think comparisons to Hitler of either Bush or Saddam are pretty far fetched.
