they own the house...but,didn`t quite make it in the senate.....

let`s stir the pot....

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070218/ap_on_go_co/us_iraq

c`mon...let`s grow a pair guys....so they're going to pressure with non-binding resolutions?

if they really believe what they're saying, put it on the line and defund the war.....simple as that.....bring the troops home like you claim....and declare that the war is over.....

that's what the left wants to do.....that's what they say.....but they can't come out and say it in the clear because people would recognize it for what it is - defeatism and retreat in the face of an enemy that will take a mile if you give an inch......

so, they have a slightly more complex strategy, and murtha is the strongest proponent....

murtha is the worst of the bunch in the house - and he's laid out exactly the route the democrats will be taking....

of course, he's ill informed, lacks a basic understanding of the facts on the ground, and doesn't care what the consequences of the act of withdrawal would have on the region, the u.s. strategic posture, and what it might do to u.s. interests in the region.....

they want to give a country to our enemy!.....we just took a country from our enemy (afghanistan) and now the left wants to turn around and give them iraq.......:mj16:

( blood pressure and pulse in normal range....no elevation in adrenal output....everything feels ship shape.....now I have to charge myself $125..... great)...

preparing for sunday morning incoming.... :grins: :

Sigh! Yup 62% of Americans want to give the country away. Or maybe they want some real security done here at home. There smart enough to know these bastards were dealing with like to wait to give a big surprise. And that surprise is not in Iraq.

Real Americans are trying to take the country back from the neocon scumbags that got us into this mess in the first place.

weasal, weasal, weasal, why is it you Neocons hate when someone speaks up and doesn't take the garbage you clowns spew? Now you know more than Murtha? We would be out of Iraq if you neocons wouldn't use the troops as a way of trying to win elections. The dems have to be gentle here because they have to think of a way to do this because the scumbag right who doesn't care one iota about the troops but care of a way to win back the congress, can't work for the good of the country. you saw their eight year hatred of Clinton. wasting millions and millions of our money to finally get something on them. Why the hate? Lets work together and get this thing done. 80 percent of iraq's dont want us there. Maybe if we pulled out something good would happen becausee surely you don't think something good is happening now. And Weasal why are 18 and 19 year old boys fighting over there but the Iraq's have been training for six years and still are not trained enough to take over? Sounds to me our neocon leaders don't want to leave and now the new reasons about Iran which is turning out to be another crock of shit, means they still didn't steal enough to suit there needs. Why did Dicky boy decline Irans offer to help three years ago?

o.k....since we`re parsing words,i`ll be crystal clear.....

we took afghanistan from the taliban...and turned it over to "the people"...

we took iraq away from the minority baathists, and gave it to "the people".....

nobody seemed to bitch about south africa..i wonder why?....

.it was taken from the minority and given to "the people"...........were they a threat to the region?...to us?....lol

are the tyrants quitting?.....no....obviously,the war in iraq has been one of the most difficult tasks the u.s.military has ever undertaken....

a door-to-door war amidst a civilian population against street-clothed and well-armed psycopathic mass-murdering foes taking place while msm reporters and stringers(and democrats for political advantage) lead the cheering section for the "insurgents" by expending every effort to discredit and demonize the miltary's every move.....

never considering the long term ramifications of defeat....

this is a complete waste of time and taxpayer money...aside from that, i'm incensed that a reasonably intelligent individual would even consider such a move......it will accomplish nothing other than to provide aid and comfort to our enemies, the jihadists and islamic radicals, and destroy the morale of the good soldiers, sailors and airmen trying to bring freedom and security to iraq and the region....

you want them home?...you want it over?...you want the real slaughter of our allies in iraq to begin?...you want us to follow the pathetic template that this metrosexual generation has established( viet nam/the hostages in tehran/lebanon/somalia)......

defund the sucker.....show some sac....

"""Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
This much we pledge—and more."...

great words indeed....

btw,i think theres a thread in general discussion on britney`s hair........i`m sure you guys would find it interesting......
