Despite suffering a scary head injury that forced him out of action in the first half of Louisville's win over Georgia Tech on Saturday, Rick Pitino said Tuesday that Deng Adel will play in the Cards' Wednesday night game against Pitt, but the sophomore forward will not start.

Pitino referred to Adel's condition as "fine," but said that freshman V.J. King would likely make his second start of the season in Adel's place.

The news was less positive on junior center Matz Stockman, who won't be available for Wednesday night's game while he recovers from his own concussion. Stockman has been sidelined for Louisville's last two games.
