Nine has these lines up already...thoughts?

Chi/Sea -7
Car/Sea -6.5

I think these are both WAY too high. I thought they would be around 3.5 or 4. I agree though, I think they would struggle more with Chicago than Carolina. I think taking the points with either one of those teams is a pretty good bet. It's the NFC Championship game, I don't see either one of them going in and playing poorly. And one more factor to keep in mind... the Seahawks have NEVER been to a SB. The pressure that this city is putting on them is ENORMOUS. This is one of those "exorcise the demons" kind of games for Seattle. They have a history of finding ways to lose when the pressure is on. There is absolutely no way I would lay those points with Seattle.

If you were able to get the Panthers at 6.5 congrats to you. I don't know what my book opened at it but I bet it at +4.5. Big bet too. I won't be watching that game. Can't root against my team in the Championship game.

Yeah, I need to switch books. My book sucks as far as lines, but it has some things I like. For instance, I can cash out up to 4 times a month for free. Other sites charge like $20 or $30 bucks EVERY time you withdraw. That's ridiculous.

I'm a dumbass. I didn't even think to check my book while the game was in progress. My book is kind of small potatoes though, so I doubt they had the line up. Good call buying the 1/2 point. I highly doubt you'll need it but you gotta do it in that instance. I think you have yourself a GREAT bet there. Don't see any way the Seahawks win that game by more than 7. Hell, I don't think they will win period...

This sounds crazy but I dont think Pitt and Cowher mind playing this game on the road..........yeah things would have been great in Pitt for the AFC championship at Heinz ....BUT with 3 previous failures in the same position maybe Pitt will be more focused with Cowhers "us against the world mentality"
