Paxton Lynch will play the entire game in the Broncos' preseason finale.

This should place him squarely on preseason crosshairs. It's also a big opportunity for Denver's first-round pick; Lynch could start sooner rather than later if he plays well Thursday, and Trevor Siemian struggles early in the year. Siemian finished his college career with a 27:24 TD-to-INT ratio.

Coach Chip Kelly said Kaepernick "needs the snaps." Kelly has also insisted that Kaepernick remains in the mix in the 49ers' starting quarterback battle.
