Nuggets have played two exceptional games back-to-back, including the stunnning upset win at Minnesota two days ago. Nets have not looked as good since the break (does anyone give the win over the Bulls any weight?).
Although the DENVER +13 wager looks solid, I think the better play here is to take the Nuggets to keep it reasonably close in the first half. If a blowout comes, it will take shape in te second half when the Nuggets give up and Nets start showboating.
I have made the followin wagers, at Millenium:
Nuggets +3.5 (FIRST QUARTER)
and
Nuggets +7 (FIRST HALF)
Asking te Nets to cover these rather large numbers is a bit much, considering the way Denver has been running the last few games.
Ready fo the halftime team to get som more money, later today.
