Leaning towards Texans right now. Broncos coming off huge win over the Chiefs and looked solid... however, public is backing Donkeys heavily and I think they'll revert to their form of 2 weeks ago when they got throttled by the Raiders.

I know Houston has major injury issues, but they're playing at home on a short week which is a huge advantage IMO.

I LOVE IT!!!
Fading the BOARD & BACKING HOUSTON! Excellent spot @ home off short week. Just look at what Dallas did to Green Bay and Washington did to Chicago in past 2 Thursday night games @ home. I also like Sage Rosenfels as he's a great athlete and his QB rating is better than Schaub's QB rating. RB is a little scary as Echemandu & Darius Walker should be getting the bulk of the carries but Houston's crowd should be a difference maker tonight.

DONKEYS :bigun: :bigun: :bigun: :bigun:

Texans 24 Donkeys 17

Denver is 1-5 ATS on the road while Houston is 4-2 ATS at home. I'm going to wait on placing my wager as the number should go to 2.5 at which point I'll buy to 3!!! Also backing Houston on the Money Line, but going to wait as the ML should get to at least +130 by kickoff.

DD,
Much respect (and not just for the avatar!) and I always check your posts.
But I came up with the exact opposite score.
Bronco's 24 Texans 17.

Looks like we both agree on the under:00hour

Good luck.

Out of all the games this week, this one stood out the most. I guessed Denver would be a 3 point favorite coming into this game so I was shocked when the line opened at Houston -1.5. I thought about hammering Denver but now I'm worried since the line is now at Denver -2! There is WAY too many bets on Denver so I will stay away from this stinkin' game. I like your idea of fading, though. Good luck........

Going to layoff the total as the spammer liked the Under and I like the Under as well.

Don't have time to wait, but will play the following:
Texans +3 (-120) for 10*
Texans 1st half ML +110 for 5*

We'll see what happens. Denver's track record on the road has been terrible and I'm hoping it continues tonight.

Man, after doing more research, Houston is starting to look like a strong play.....I'm just worried about Houston's RB situation. Is Ron Dayne out for sure or is he a game-time decision?

D, let me start by saying I love yur boobies and I like your threads.
I like Houston also, Denver is too inconsistant this year but I do like the over tonight.. big
Both teams either score a ton or they allow the other team to score a ton, so I will lean towards the over.

Ron Dayne is out.

Revised to Texans +3 (-120) for 10* instead of original ML... far better value getting 3 points IMO. I still like the Texans to win, but would rather grab the points.

Public is really hammering this game as line continues to climb, but I won't be around to wait for the line to possibly hit 3.

The Texans secondary is weak and can be exploited...but...both Bronco WR's Javon Walker and Brandon Stokely will be game time decisions so the Broncos may not have all the weapons to fully exploit the Texans weakness...as long as the Texans are able to establish a running game with Echemando (spelled it wrong) and Walker I think they have a chance to win this one at Home...if both Walker and Stokely are able to play I'd take the Broncos but without those two I'd lean towards the Texans.

Good Luck!

I personally like denver b/c their secondary is good, denvers run defense is terrible but dayne is out. thats why the line has moved so much, also the texans are very off and on at home, also like the under.
Also, notice all the heavy public favs and overs hit last week with the bookies getting throttled. I would take a hard look at some unders this week. in every game the public is taking the overs. Look at the weather in pitt, boston, cleveland, new york, miami all this weekend. Miami's got 20 mph winds and 50% chance of rain, all the northeast cities are expecting snow showers with 20-30 mph winds, i think goin with the unders across the boards in those games listed would produce a good day..

Well I was in the minority, but I won 15.75* on a piece of crap Thursday night game.

I would expect the Dogs to have a nice weekend after getting throttled last weekend. Chicks were picking 15 of 16 games right last week and I had some dumbass in my weekly pick the winners go 16-0 which NEVER happens.

Expect the unexpected this week at least in regards to the point spread.
