So did the Jets and Buffalo should have as well...

I'm STILL not drinking the Orton kool-aid. We'll see how good they are the next 3 weeks. SD,Bal,Pitt.

As opposed to their wins over Cincy(should've lost), Clev, Oakland, and Dallas. Still, I was glad to see the Pats go down again.

They're better than I thought, I'll say that. And they should win the AFC West. The only thing I would say, and maybe this is a "hater" comment, is that they haven't beaten anyone on the road yet. I give them credit for knocking off NE, that was a quality win. But it was also at home. Home wins are much, much easier than road wins in the NFL.

IMO NE is the only good team they've played this year (not impressed by Dallas at all, even though others are). Again, it was a great win for them and a helluva comeback. But so far they have had an incredibly favorable schedule.

Like I said before though, they're much better than I thought they would be. I figured they were a 5 win team for the season, and they're already 5-0. If you're a Broncos fan, you should be excited.

all I hear is schedule schedule schedule. Broncos dont get to pick who they play and they cant do anything better than go out and win, no matter who they face.

They went to Cincy and shut down Palmer for 95% of the game and came away with a win, and just beat one of the best QB of all time at home. They shut down New england completely in the 2nd half!

The defense went from one of the NFLs worst to the NFLs best, and if they arent at the top this week, theyre top 3 or top 5, not sure how all the other teams faired this week.

For anyone to not be impressed with this team, you are CRAZY. They went from a 4-3 to a 3-4, brought in a whole new secondary outside of Champ Bailey. Traded away a superstar QB for Kyle Orton, who has ONE interception this year, and that was by Randy Moss on a hail mary attempt to end the 1st half.

Orton manages the game and makes very few mistakes. The offense is getting better and better every week and will keep improving. With a defense this good, they will always be in the game. They wont blow many teams out of the water on offense, but they get the job done.

Hats off to Josh and Mike Nolan

They earned my respect tonight, but I will definitely bet against them until they prove they can win on the road against a quality team. Who do they play next wee,?

Like I said, they are a lot better than I thought they would be. But, like it or not, they've had a very soft landing to start the season. And you're right, they can't control who they play, but the argument about a weak schedule is valid, and one that you're going to hear. Do you remember a few years ago when the Seahawks went to the Super Bowl? There were people saying they weren't good because they played a weak schedule. And that was a team that had made it to the frigging SUPER BOWL!

The defense gets tons of credit. Agreed. Orton gets tons of credit too. Agreed. I personally think Orton is playing way over his head, but we'll see. I guess my point is this... it's a lot easier to look impressive against weak teams on the road, and good teams at home. The test for ANY team is to beat good teams on the road, IMO. Others may disagree, but that's my barometer. A lot of teams look ugly when they play good teams on the road.

3 very tough road games that I see for them -- Balty, Indy, and Philly. I'd like to see how they play in those games. I'm not even saying they need to WIN, I'm just saying I'll be more of a believer if they go on the road and play well in those games. The other 3 road games are Washington, SD and KC. If you go by record, I'm sure most people would say Denver should win those games. We'll see. I just think homefield is a huge advantage for teams.

They seem to find a way to pull it out ... gotta admire that, 5-0.

Played behind all game again today and won, just like last week v Dallas.

I'll give'em props. But after watching Orton turn the switch on and off in Chic, it's just a matter of time. He's about as consistent as a 5 yr old. BUT, today I have to say well done.

Under a mask.
Why are you (or the so called haters) surprised.
Its a team run by a coach who learned how to win from one of the best.

I like McDanials.Im happy for him.Really well with QBS,and just really has put it together early for Denver.

He showed the team who was boss early(Cutler,Marshell). and never let the chickens run the roost. It is still early, but nice start for em.

Thunder, I don't think they get to 12 wins, I'd be happy with 10 as they have a brutal stretch coming up. As a fan though, it took me a few weeks to get over the Cutler trade, and I had no belief they would win 7 games this year. I am just glad they have come together this well, Marshall did not get shipped out, Orton is solid and a great game manager (only 1 int this year and it was a Hail Mary at the end of the half), and the defense is by far pathetic from worst to a top 10.

This Monday will go a long way in telling me how far they have come as we got killed oth games by San Diego last year and only have to be better than them to win the division.

He learned from the best and preaches to the team "just do your job" ...so far so good, but like I said this Monday is the biggest game of the season for them...we shall see..:SIB
