8 innings, 79 pitches ... and he doesn't come out for the 9th? saito is good but this one doesn't make sense.

yep, saito breezes through the 9th.

that said, i still think it was a weird move to bring saito out with the way lowe was cruising. that was as dominant as ive seen lowe in a long time

Milwaukee is a loser franchise. They pick up rejects like Tony Graffino and Kevin Mench. Please. Tony Graffiinino is a GD idiot. The SOB stands up there and gets struck out looking in the 9th inning of a 1 run game. I will never understand until the day I die why hitters get struck out looking ever, much less the 9th inning. I knew these cocksuckers would lose it and they did. I knew the SOB's were going to win last night but did not play them so I play them tonight and they show why they are a bunch of rejects. The Dodgers are nothing special. They have a lousy offense. They had one really hot streak to save their season because they play in the worst division in baseball.

they might not be anything special and probably won't get very far, but you don't know much.

dodgers have the highest team batting average in the national league along with the highest on base percentage. only the phillies mets and braves have scored more total runs. i guess maybe that's lousy in your book.

The batting average stat is even more impressive when you consider they play a huge chunk of their games in pitcher's parks like Dodger Stadium, Peto and whatever the hell the Giants call their place these days.

Actually, I am amazed at their stats. I know they are up there in runs scored but everytime I see them, they win about like they did tonight. I think they scored a lot of runs early in the year and they have been streaky. They go through stretches where they hardly score but get some good pitching. When I look at them and their over/under record, I am amazed.
