I am not sure statistically in the playoffs.
I found this trend about 7 years ago and have been trying to find it again. I don't remember where I read it. I do remember it was 89% effective but they may be another caveat to it.
Like the next game had to be within 24-48 hours and the team that shot 55% had to be favorited.
The two I've seen this year has been Dallas in game 3 and the Suns in game 4.
In both series in that previous game San Antone and New Orleans shot over 55%.
Both games they won outright.
Hit both games for winners.
