I sure dont see the mismatch the price will show......

Sheed and Prince vs Horry and Bowen......adv Det

Rip and Billips vs Manu and Parker.......pretty even but Billips will post up on Parker

Td vs Wallace........big adv Spurs.....

Benchs..........adv Deet

Coaching........?????

I dont see any reason this cant be very competitive........SA will be thinking they are playing the defense of 8 guys after playing Phoenix then facing Det.......

you can just about chalk TD for 25/15 or so most nights, not so with Deet's bigs, crapshoot city ... rasheed can no show like Godot any night ...

to me key is can Chauncey get better of DHW Parker? He ran wild on suns b/c Nash couldnt stay in front of a Lay-Z-Boy (no bash on Nash, I love him to death, but he is poor defender) in Nugs series with Andre on TP, he didnt carte blanche and often stalled

Gino will get his, Rip also ...

another huge key is something i said b4, Dumars dropped ball not getting help at guard, I know the arroyo experiment blew up in face, and i was almost certain LB wouldnt play him in game 7; Hunter had to show the world he could shoot again 0-5

coaches are great, but no one is better than LB IMHO

benches are erratic but spurs have more options; elden will get mins again leaning bigs ... will barry win a game like he did in phx series, stuff like that is impossible to cap

Tayshaun I think shoulda been MVP of east finals, he played well every night, no other piston was as consistent ... he might cloak gino and TP some--that would be fun to watch for

HC goes to spurs, huge again ... I love deet and I won on them etc tonight, but if Wade doesnt go down late in game im not so sure if I woulda cashed, when ref tried to help him up I told my buddy that might be it for Heat's OFF down stretch other than Shaq ...

i hope it goes 7, but i favor spurs

gl, mav, i know u have 6/1 deet and I would hedge and not sweat, think about it, you won one game 7, that was nice, now cash in :) you deserve it

all that said, if deet wins i wont be shocked, they are such a gritty and deserving bunch to pull for

At first glance you give an edge to San Antonio. Tim Duncan is the best player on the court, they are the better offensive team and they have the home court advantage.

What I don't like about the Spurs is that they can fall asleep. Detroit gives a solid effort every night and is very tough mentally. My guess is that the Spurs will not underestimate the Pistons, but I saw them do it to the Sonics and damn near had to go to a 7th game.

Nazar Muhammed is playing very well for San Antonio. He could be very big in this series. It will also be interesting to see how Manu and Tony do against Rip and Chauncy. Parker is cat-quick and if he can penetrate, it could be big problems for the Pistons.

I was not impressed with the Piston bench in the Miami series, but that may change. I really think the Spurs are overrated as a defensive team, but they are a much better scoring team than in the past. It will also be interesting to see who Bruce Bown guards. I am thinking Hamilton.

Gotta go with the Spurs, but if San Antonio relaxes, they will be in trouble.

Good point of playing hapless Phoenix 'D'....then playing Detroits 'D'. Hopefully they drop the first game before they adjust....leaving home advantage to the Pistons.

Detroit doesn't relax???? What about game 2 and 3 in the Indiana series? I think the key is Parker. He can be good 40% of the time, great 30 % of the time, and awful 30% of the time. Hopefully he can minimize the time he is awful. I like the Spurs in 6.
