On Tuesday the New Jersey Nets won their 8th straight playoff game by defeating the Detroit Pistons 88-86 as a 2.5 pt RF.
The final total was 174 pts which barely went under the closing total of 178.5.


Nets are 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS at home in the playoffs. Averaging 97 ppg, with the OVER at 3-2.

Pistons are 2-4 both SU & ATS.
Averaging 88 ppg on the road in the playoffs.
The TOTAL is even at 3-3.



Game 3

Oddsmakers (LVSC) opened the Nets as a 5.5 pt. fav & the total at 178.
Most books opened the Nets as a 6 pt. fav & the total of 179.

The Nets hasn't lost at Continental Airlines Arena since April 22, and are 4-1 SU and 2-2-1 ATS at home in the playoffs. In the last meeting on Dec. 21, New Jersey beat Detroit 100-92 at home. The Pistons are 5-1-1 ATS in the past seven contests against the Nets, but just 1-4-1 ATS in its last five games overall. The heavy pressure is on the Pistons, but expect New Jersey to be relentless tonight at the Meadowlands. Then again, Detroit performs it?s best in vital games and almost certainly will make tonight?s fight a close battle.
