My understanding is that Ford is a huge sponsor of the NFL.....

Part of that sponsorship (unwritten of course) is that Detroit is "rewarded" with the Thursday game each year.

Now why does Dallas get it too? Probably because some people out there still consider them "America's team" I guess....

when you sign a QB who was retired to a 2 yr contract you are hurting in the personel dept.

This is as bad a NFL team since the Tampa Bucs when they first started.
