If anyone thinks they traded for Iverson with the expectations of improving their team, then you're very naive. It was 100% about the contracts.
Also, Curry isn't the problem. Detroit is old, redundant, and not very good.
If I were running the team, I'd let Iverson and Wallace go in the offseason. Put Hamilton back in the lineup and give Boozer what he wants.
They should also throw money at one of the following potential FAs...
Marion, Okur(early term option), Artest, Odom, Turkoglu(early term option), Jamal Crawford(early term option), Korver(early term option).
The Pistons need to make the transition from GREAT defense, to GREAT defense with GOOD OFFENSE(see Cavs, Spurs, Lakers, Celtics)...all play great defense, but also play good offense too.
