On the course!
I mentioned that I would chronicle the Tigers last month of losses starting today.

Of course, like some days, I was not home before the games went off tonight. At any rate, I am going to post the runline, and the results every day.

The theory is to bet against the Tigers laying the -1' every day, and "doubling up" after they get a win. (You lose your bet)

This suicidal form of wagering is not recommended in most instances, but I think you can make a good killing over the next 30 days or so.

Naturally, the Tigers played well enough to win tonight.

The line was:

Cleveland -1' 110

That puts the theory at -1.1 units, with a two unit play tomorrow.

Again, I won't ask anyone to risk their ass on this, as it could prove painful if Detroit starts playing like Milwaukee! I will tell you that I am convinced you could blindly make +20 units on these guys in thirty days

---------------------------------

0-1 vs -1' RL -1.1 units

Next wager:

2 units-----Cleveland -1' +105

(Line updated to reflect pitching change.)

You have had success this year yyz so don't piss it away. There is NO value in blindly fading any team, especially Detroit. They will not keep losing at this pace and whatever pace they do lose at will not be enough to overcome the rediculous prices they are at right now. Five straight runline losses, which is very possible, is all it takes to lose your yearlong profit. Good luck.

I agree, Nick. For what it is worth, I am only posting this as a service for the folks whom are interested.

You hear things like, "What if you would have bet against them all year?"

Tor Vig and I started sharing feeling on this team some time ago, and I had a thought"

A lot of guys are saying how they can't pick a winnere this year, so why not go against one of the worst teams in ball?

Of all of their losses, Detroit has only lost 11 (I belive) by one run.

I am not making a wager on this theory every day, just posting how it would turn out. My wagers are still posted in the forum the way they always have been.

I am merly posting the results so at seasons end we don't have to look back and say, "What if we would have went against them all of September?"

(More of a shits and grins thing, that will turn out to be a , "Woulda, coulda, shoulda!" ;) )

you could do this starting with .25 Units or .5? and this way you dont put on jeaopardy the units already won for the season and if this is profitable you wont feel that you didnt take the chance and you would have some more units ??
