can kiss my fat ass. :moon:

Sitting on Det +1.5 down 3-2 with 2 outs in the ninth....

BP gives up 5 runs (and counting) with 2 outs in the ninth.

F*CK DETROIT

Now I feel much better...sorry for the vent.

I feel for ya. Had the Tigers straight up myself. After the game, was left wondering why I had played them. Quite frankly, Detroit was sooooo fortunate that the game somehow didn't get away from them.
Seattle left 10 men on base thru 7 innings!

I wish I kept a stat for how many games I've lost this season from the 8th inning on (looks like Texas will be another).

Detroit has been playing well as of late, and Seattle hasn't really shown me much lately. Played Detroit s/u last night and on the run line tonight. I thought there was some pretty good value going against SEA. Oh well, I'm not gonna bitch about losing too much, especially when I won on the Brave's back-to-back jacks the other day in the 9th. It just really pisses me off losing so many games in the last two innings...and it seems like every time it's with 2 outs :(

Certainly I would've rather played Detroit on the RL myself. Especially with a huge dog. Detroit gave the Mariners fits in Seattle in the last series. Yeah, Seattle has looked unimpressive of late, but in a tight division race they have no room to allow losses to sub .500 teams, which is exactly the type of teams they're playing down the road. Seattle has only had 2 reliable starters all year. Valdes a very good showing in his 1st start as a Mariner. Congrats on the win last nite.

I'm definitely gonna keep my eyes on those teams battling for position down the stretch. OAK has really saved my ass lately, although ANH & Washburn burnt my ass the other night. You make a very good point about SEA, I just pushed my luck one too many times with DET

GL down the home stretch.

USC Gamecock--

I know we all tend to remember the losses more than the wins, but you just won the Braves game on Tuesday with 3 runs in the 8th and 2 HRs in the bottom of the 9th. The world is not against you, my friend. :nono:

BTW, I am looking for big things from your Gamecocks this season.

Hammer,

You must have missed my other post where I addressed that very point. That's just the nature of gambling. However, I will say that I certainly remember losing more games like that than I do winning games like that.

As far as the Gamecocks go, only time will tell my friend. Let's just hope they can get past your Hoos in the second game. I'm also looking forward to that in depth UGA/Clemson analysis you promised. It's about that time.

And by the way, where's your good friend RW been hiding? :grins:

I remember having the the Orioles -1.5 on monday, and bottom of the ninth O's down by one. They tie it and then hit a three run homer :D . Guess it works both ways.
