Best of Luck to Everyone this NBA Season and as you will see, trends play a huge role in the NBA more than any other sports.

San Antonio opened the season last year by going 20-4 and their losses were @ Seattle, @ Sacramento, @ Minnesota (first underdog of season, and Sacramento at home. They were 7-3 last season as dogs (excluding Lakers playoff series) and covered 4 of 5 in playoffs against LAL. Now Shaq is out and Fox is also. San Antonio has covered last 5 season openers also.
LA Lakers opened the season last year by going 19-3 and their losses were @ Phoenix, @ Sacramento, and Seattle. LA Lakers have won last 7 season openers also, and are 6-1 ATS (Covered last 5).
San Antonio has covered 7 of last 10 against Lakers, while Lakers have won 8 of the last 10.
Call it a toss-up by both teams will play close to the hip. Plus 4 of 5 played under this past season @ Staples.
