I have a buddy that bought a custom-made ring for his wife. To make a long, long story short, it didn't work out. My friend tried to return it to the jewler, but since it was custom-made and not part of his normal selection, the jeweler only offered peanuts in taking it back. Soooo...before he went the ebay route, I told him I would post it here to see if any of the 'jackers were interested. The signed appraisal from the gemologist has the ring at $5165, but I am sure that he will take much less than that. I would guess probably half? :shrug: Bottom line--he just wants to be rid of it, but not take a beating in the process.
The pertinent info is below that he provided me. The ring is somewhere around 4-6 months old, but it has never been worn--and has been locked in a safe-deposit box while he tried to figure out what to do with it... I can e-mail pictures if anyone is interested--I just don't know how to make them appear in a thread. I will get any questions answered as quickly as I can if there is any interest. Again--I will e-mail pics, or if anyone lets me know how to make them appear, I'll add them.......
