COLORADO ROCKIES ?125 - This looks like a cheap price to me for the Rockies at home, particularly when the starting pitching match-up is basically a wash. Yes Elarton was ineffective in his first start at Los Angeles, allowing 5 runs on 5 hits and 5 walks in 5.1 innings. However, Daigle was considerably worse in his first Major League start, lasting only 2.2 innings while getting torched for 8 earned runs and 10 hits. As if that first outing is not bad enough for the psyche of this kid, he now must deal with pitching at Coors Field for the first time. Given that the Rockies scored 21 runs in the first 2 games of this series, I do not expect to see any improvement from Daigle today. Elarton may give up his share of runs, but I look for the Rocks to pound out another victory here at home, where that are always exceptionally better than when they play on the road.
