Dickerson's salary ($6.2 million) comes off the books immediately, because he hasn't played the past two seasons. I don't know what kind of moves they can make with the season starting tomorrow, and I don't know about Reeves' salary, but Dickerson coming off the books should at the very least keep Memphis from worrying about the luxury tax.

They just signed Posey and extended Miller, so I'm not sure how much room there's going to be next year (sorry Kobe).

If Mr. west has his way he may do a sign n trade with the lakers for kobe next year. Either a Gasol/Posey or any other combo of players. My ? is would Kobe be as effective with NO big man. Or will he be like Pippen was without Jordan, just not as good. IMO the Grizz need a dominate center(as most other teams need). They have the talent, youth, and coach to be very successful in the very new future, but need a big man to compete in the west. This team has no biz playing in the west conference. Their location has nothing to do with West except the part of the state they are located in. With the new alignment they are even more screwed. I think it is San anton, Houston, memphis, and Dallas. The current team would finish in the top 4 in the east and will finish in the bottom 4 in the west.

Nevertheless the Nizz will be a great team to bet on this year. Their defense and scoring will cause problems for opponents. If they can put together some road Ws and not have any serious injuries they may win 40 games.
