A couple things I learned from this..........
1. You can break a window to save an animal and be charged with breaking and entering.
2. You can break a window if you have more than one witness that can confirm the animal was in severe distress - best way is to wait until the animal passed out, but that's hard to do.
3. You can break a window without a witness and you will more than likely be charged with B&E but upon presenting your case to a judge, it would more than likely be dropped - and it would if there is a police report filed.
4. You don't ever want to break a window without calling the police first. Unless you simply do not care.
Here's a video of this shit. The officer said the dog refused water because the dog was dehydrated and or out of his mind. He was in there for 30 min. in 100 degree heat.
