Mr. Buck has Parkinsons disease but he has virtually kept this a secret because he doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him. In a recent speach he even made light of it, saying, he got a chance to meet Ali at an engagement and it took them 20 minutes to pry them apart when they shook hands.

This is his final season in the booth for KMOX 1120.

jack buck is the best announcer ive ever listened to on the radio.its people like him that made baseball what is today. tough to watch him shakin out there but he is an icon and i thought that was pretty moving shit last night in kc.

ya he did look like the mash guy but eitherway it was good to see st.louis pull out the win.$
